The General Services Administration says its modified SmartBUY
agreement with Manugistics Group, Inc. of Rockville, Md.,
will provide supply chain management software and save the
government around $25 million through tiered discounts in
which unit cost decreases with greater volume.
“This is a new class of SmartBuy agreement, based on tiered
pricing and pre-packaging of software into easy-to-use
solutions,” said Neal Fox, Assistant Commissioner for
Commercial Acquisition, GSA Federal Supply Service.
GSA says it will continue seeking opportunities for additional
SmartBuy agreements and will post announcements on
FedBizOpps.gov.
