GSA has announced a partnership with the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to test and evaluate potential vehicle safety devices on all GSA leased vehicles.
GSA said they would work together to develop a process to learn about safety technologies, create a research program to pilot and evaluate those for the federal vehicle fleet, and better coordinate on handling defects and other problems that arise, among other efforts.
