The CIO Council and OMB have set October 28-29 as the dates for the annual IT and Privacy summits, designed for IT and privacy professionals, both civilian and military. The IT summit, on Oct. 28, will focus on strategic direction, Wiki government, transparency and solutions to IT workforce challenges and will feature interactive discussions and panels. The Privacy summit, on Oct. 29, will focus on managing privacy, agency models for complying with OMB requirements and will feature plenary and breakout sessions with leading experts.
