The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled an important
conference to address significant personnel issues that touch
all agencies at all levels. The late-winter conference will
bring together federal chief human resources officers,
security officers, managers, supervisors and other government
leaders to discuss and learn more about major trends in
transforming the government.
Look for cutting edge presentations and a free exchange of
ideas at this key federal work force conference – called
“Transformation for Results.” OPM put it this way: “We’re
living in a changing human resources world. We’re surrounded
by changes: human capital scorecards, new roles, new rules,
and new ways of doing business.” Participants will learn
the direction of the nation’s largest personnel system and
find out how to better support their agencies’ missions.
There’s a new feature for this perennial HR conference
favorite – Focused Forums, says OPM. These special sessions
will offer strategies, insight, and technical advice in the
areas that interest these officials most and center on the
issues they face everyday, it said.
