The Army has announced winners of two awards that
recognize outstanding achievements of Department of the
Army civilians. The joint-winners of the 2004 William H.
Kushnick Award are Edie Coutcher and Roland Volk from
the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC). This award recognizes
Coutcher’s efforts in developing and implementing the AMC
Fellows Program and Volk’s efforts in recruiting the
brightest and best for the AMC Fellows Program.
The winner of the 2004 John W. Macy, Jr. Award is Martin
Green of the U.S. Army Tank – Automotive and Armaments
Command Acquisition Center. He is being recognized for
his leadership in the Acquisition Community during the
Global War on Terrorism.
The awards ceremony will be May 17 at Ft. McNair, Va.
