The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled a program for
May 6 – 7 for GS-15s, SES members, and their equivalents.
Given at the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville,
“360-Degree Leadership, A Comprehensive Approach to Ensuring
Support from Others in Your Management Hierarchy and Beyond,”
is about gaining power and using influence to manage up and
across the hierarchy in addition to down through it.
Participants focus on those who work around them to learn
how to tactfully and effectively influence colleagues above
them in the hierarchy, co-workers, subordinates, and players
outside of the participant’s agency. Through exercises and
feedback participants identify and address skill gaps.
The $1,835 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and course
