NASA has announced that it awarded a contract to Accenture
of Reston, Va., to implement a suite of administrative
systems for the Integrated Financial Management Program of
its Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.,
likely to include contract and human resources management
depending on its needs.
It said the size of the five-year, firm-fixed price
contract is conditional on those needs and has a range of
between $12 million and $200 million. The contract provides
flexibility through its Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite
Quantity provisions, according to NASA.
It said the overall goal of IFMP is to improve the
financial, physical and human resources management processes
throughout NASA, which owns and manages land, buildings,
aircraft, spacecraft, computers, equipment, chemicals and
supplies.
