The Navy’s Office of Civilian Human Resources has announced the launch of a new competency model and supporting learning continuum.
It said it has been working to identify the current and future roles and competencies required for its HR professionals at entry and developmental levels, intermediate and journey levels, and at the expert level.
The implementation strategy is to provide a common competency management framework and a standardized process for coming up with individual development plans for the Navy workforce.
