The Chief Human Capital Officers Council has added six subcommittees and aligned fiscal 2007 goals and objectives with OPM’s 2006-2010 operational plan, OPM has announced.
It said the council’s fiscal 2007 strategic plan outlines the mission statements and goals for its six subcommittees, provides the foundation for the tasks and priorities it will be addressing and that the linkage between the CHCO council plan with OPM’s operational plan would lead to strategic partnerships.
The subcommittees are: emergency preparedness, hiring and succession planning, HR line of business, HR workforce, learning and development, and performance management.
“Developing and fostering this partnership will provide the subcommittees the opportunity to assess the current impediments to progress, compile and share best practices, and make recommendations on strategic human capital management challenges to OPM, the council and its stakeholders,” said OPM director Linda Springer.
