OPM has started centralizing into its opm.gov/data portal a variety of workforce-related statistics it keeps, under the President’s Management Agenda and a newly issued OPM data strategy covering through 2026.
That strategy “aims to foster a stronger governmentwide data-driven culture, deliver high-quality human capital data products, leverage technology to improve data collection and integration, and strengthen data governance and management,” OPM said.
The initial public-facing dashboards include employment, turnover and demographic data from the FedScope database; from the annual Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey; and on federal positions involved with IT and cybersecurity functions including occupations, demographics and turnover rates.
Also included are data from Chief Human Capital Officers Council surveys on federal managers’ satisfaction with hiring processes and candidates, and the GSA’s dashboard on usage and results of different types of candidate assessment in hiring.
