OPM in has released three new job announcement templates for use in entry level hiring for management and program analysts, and general and criminal investigators.
Developed in partnership with agency subject matter experts, the templates cover salary trajectories, job summaries, key requirements, information on hiring preferences and instructions on how to apply.
For example, the template for an entry level management and program analyst asks whether the applicant enjoys finding ways to improve processes, says the applicant would be collecting, compiling, and analyzing data, could be making $69,764 after five years and explains how he or she would be evaluated. It is commented where agencies are to entry or edit key information.
OPM also updated two government-wide templates originally issued last year to reflect two new positions: secretary, GS-318-05, and accounting technician, GS-525-05.
