OPM has launched a revamped USAJOBS website slightly ahead of schedule and meanwhile announced that users can now sign in to reset their password, build new user profiles and create new saved searches.
The search functionality has been upgraded and completely rebuilt so saved searches from the old system have been deleted.
OPM said it worked with several agencies to update the questions asked by the website, and that now when users apply for federal jobs many form fields will automatically populate with their saved data.
Some information such as special hiring authority eligibilities can be used in targeted agency recruitment efforts to help find qualified talent, said OPM.
