In the latest quarterly reporting on performance.gov on agency priority goals, OPM cited:
• Development of initial guidance for agencies and talent acquisition systems for how applicant flow data (AFD) should be structured and made available to different roles in agencies, including hiring managers. “When agencies adhere to these standards, individuals involved in agency hiring processes will have expanded access to AFD while following appropriate guidelines for responsible use,” it said.
• Continued work to update Pathways Program regulations, including incorporating input from agencies into an updated draft of the proposed regulations.
• Continued work to roll out role-based DEIA dashboards, which it said will advance broader agency data strategy efforts to enable government-wide dashboards on attrition, hiring and Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey results.
• Granted direct hire authority to multiple agencies that have permitting responsibilities outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and worked to help agencies understand how to respond to criteria for requesting dual compensation waivers to bring experts with permitting experience into the hiring process.
• Prepared responses to more than 300 comments agencies sent OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs during the first and second rounds of interagency reviews of draft proposed regulations on closing gender and racial pay gaps in the government
• Released a request for proposal for a decision support tool for the Postal Service Health Benefits Program that is to launch in calendar year 2025.
