The Partnership for Public Service has announced that 200 federal employees from 26 agencies have graduated from its Excellence in Government Fellows program, designed to strengthen leadership skills of GS-14 and GS-15 personnel.
It said the program combines innovative coursework, best practices benchmarking, challenging action-learning projects, executive coaching and government-wide networking – and that graduates worked with agency executives to tackle complex issues throughout the program.
"Stay committed, remain passionate about your calling to service and always feel incredibly proud about the difference you make every single day in the lives of our fellow Americans," said NASA administrator Charles Bolden in an address at the final session.
Applications for the fall 2013 program will close September 27. Those interested can complete an online application providing background information, a resume, a supervisory recommendation and an essay. Participants are expected to attend about 20 days across seven sessions. Learn more at: ourpublicservice.org.
