In what it said is “the final round of progress updates to be released until new goals are established,” a posting on performance.gov has closed the books on the Biden administration’s agency priority goals.

While the final update did not highlight federal workplace-related actions, the updates from OPM pointed to actions in the last quarter of fiscal 2024 including:

* Readying a new, centralized enrollment system for the new Postal Service Health Benefits program with features that “provide personalized benefits options in a coherent interface.”

* Issuing a memo with OMB on improving the federal hiring experience for both applicants and agencies, including conducting training and holding meetings on use of shared certificates and working “to reduce redundant administrative steps where possible” in their use.

* Launching on USAJOBS agency talent portal for the Pathways Program’s intern and recent graduates programs and conducting outreach to colleges and universities on the job application process.

OPM meanwhile posted on opm.gov a narrative retrospective of its initiatives during the Biden administration.
