On November 25 the grandfather provision for determining post-
employment conflict-of-interest restrictions for the senior
executive service and others expired for those making under
$104,217, the Office of Personnel Management has announced.
It said the restrictions remain in effect for those employees
with a rate of basic pay equal to or greater than $104,217,
which is 86.5 percent of the rate for level II of the executive
schedule.
OPM said agencies should review the pay of senior executives
and other individuals who were previously covered by the
grandfather provision to determine whether they are still
subject to the restrictions — and provide written notification
to employees no longer covered.
