The Partnership for Public Service, working to promote
employment in the federal government, has released a
handbook designed to help liberal arts college students
find federal jobs and internship opportunities – something
federal recruiters might find useful.
PPS offered, for example, that a communications major
might consider working for the FBI as a public affairs
specialists and the handbook would walk the student through
the steps to get there. A political science major might
benefit from a Department of Education policy intern, or
an economics major might gain from crunching numbers at
the Congressional Budget Office, said PPS. Visit
