Federal Manager's Daily Report

OPM has announced that the Chief Human Capital Officers Council received a distinguished service award for human capital management from the Training Officers Consortium — a Washington D.C.-based non-profit with a focus on training and HR — in recognition of the Council’s work on HR University.

OPM says that HRU, which provides a centralized source for OPM approved courses and training, has saved over $16 million, registered over 13,000 users, posted over 85 courses, and has over 7,000 course completions by registrants from over 28 government agencies.

It noted that the overall satisfaction rating for courses is a 4.25 on a 5-point rating scale. HRU focuses on foundational knowledge of federal HR laws and regulations, technical and analytical skills, and strategic thinking and partnering skills.
