The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled a workshop for March 31-April 2 for GS-15s, SES members, and their equivalents interested in the OPM executive core qualifications listed under leadership competencies. Given at the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, “Coaching Skills for Federal Executives: Learning How You Can Unleash the Best in All Members of Your Organization,” is designed to teach managers and supervisors how to tap into unrealized talent in their organizations, expand a sense of ownership among employees and improve performance in general by emphasizing empowerment through coaching.

At the end of the program participants will complete a personal coaching action plan outlining the steps needed to adopt coaching as part of their leadership skill sets. The $1,935 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and course materials. Learn more and register at
