Federal Manager's Daily Report

The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled a seminar for

Aug. 30 — Sept. 3 for managers and others who have responsibility

for managing projects.

Given at the Western Management Development Center in Denver,

“Managing Projects Well, The Human Factors,” is designed to

teach managers and others what they need to know to

successfully complete projects. It might otherwise be titled

“what they don’t teach you in project management school,”

according to OPM.

Participants are taught both technical and behavioral aspects

of project management with a heavy emphasis directed to the

interpersonal aspects of project management — through workshop

style exercises designed to increase productivity.

The $2,600 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and course

materials. Learn more and register at:
