The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled a seminar for
Aug. 30 — Sept. 3 for managers and others who have responsibility
for managing projects.
Given at the Western Management Development Center in Denver,
“Managing Projects Well, The Human Factors,” is designed to
teach managers and others what they need to know to
successfully complete projects. It might otherwise be titled
“what they don’t teach you in project management school,”
according to OPM.
Participants are taught both technical and behavioral aspects
of project management with a heavy emphasis directed to the
interpersonal aspects of project management — through workshop
style exercises designed to increase productivity.
The $2,600 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and course
