The Office of Special Counsel has posted on its site a quiz on prohibited personnel practices, including what constitutes retaliation against a whistleblower, as a training aid for new employee orientation, mandatory supervisory training and other purposes.
“This material is intended to help educate federal employees on prohibited personnel practices (especially whistleblower retaliation), rights and remedies available under the law, and making disclosures of government wrongdoing,” the introduction to the online quiz says.
It said the quiz also will serve to inform OSC about the state of knowledge of the so-called “PPPs” which serve as a do-not-do to federal managers and others involved in personnel decisions–discrimination, coercion, improper influence, violating veterans preference requirements, and more.
Completing the quiz will take about an hour, it adds; to finish, the correct answer to each question must be given.
