
The EEOC is hosting an online seminar December 19 starting at 1 pm Eastern time on drafting EEO policy statements under its directive MD-715, which requires agency heads and other senior management officials to “demonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment.”
“To comply with this requirement, agency heads must annually issue a written policy statement expressing their commitment to EEO and a workplace free of discriminatory harassment”—a policy that must contain certain elements, it said.
