Several management-related bills are up for consideration this week in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee:
S-317 would require an annual report disclosing the cost and performance of government programs and areas of duplication among them;
S-218 would restrict the inclusion of Social Security numbers in government correspondence;
HR-274 would allow agencies to reimburse their employees for using ride-sharing services while on official travel; and
HR-366 would tighten policies on vehicle purchases and leasing at DHS in response to inspector general findings.
The two latter bills already have passed the House.
