A larger percentage of teleworkers – 76 percent versus 68 percent of non-teleworkers – say they are satisfied with their jobs, the report said.

It also said a higher percentage of teleworkers are shown to be in a somewhat better position to excel at their jobs than those who are not able to telework.

For example, 83 percent of teleworkers report a clear understanding of work expectations versus 79 percent for non-teleworkers, 87 percent report they are held accountable for results versus 83 percent, and 53 percent versus 44 percent say they have a clear sense of control over work processes.

Further, more teleworkers – 75 versus 66 percent – would recommend their organizations as good places to work.
