OPM has announced a series of free training courses to be conducted both in-person and virtually “intended for agency employees who participate in human resources evaluations associated with their agency’s evaluation system.”
“Our training focuses on the Human Capital Framework and three phases of the evaluation process (i.e., planning, implementing, and reporting) with real-world, practical exercises,” says a memo on chcoc.gov.
In-person sessions—for which seating is limited and priority given to those who have not previously attended—will begin December 3-6 at the OPM headquarters building, with sessions there in February and September, and in Denver in May. Virtual sessions begin January 27. Details are in the memo.
The memo also contains information for registration, which includes submitting an individual assessment form. “We recommend coordinating nominations for the course with agency Accountability Program Managers to prioritize agency training needs,” OPM added.
