After filing a suit in federal court, the National Employees
Treasury Union got the Internal Revenue Service Office of
Chief Counsel to release data on awards given to its managers,
NTEU has announced.
It said the data shows OCC managers receive much greater
awards than employees in “the same grades as these managers
and that there is no other measure of equity between managers
and employees.”
According to the union, the Justice Department declined to
defend OCC on the matter.
