The latest quarterly update on the President’s Management Agenda cites the launch of a dashboard on Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey results among other actions under the “strengthening and empowering the federal workforce” element of the PMA.

That dashboard presents FEVS data from 2019-2023 government-wide by agency, and by individual question and indexes that combine responses to related questions.

A posting on performance.gov also highlighted issuance of final rules to bar the use of previous non-federal salary history in setting pay for federal employment offers; release of the Workforce of the Future Playbook; a new “talent pools” feature on USAJobs.gov; and memos on use of the probationary period and using hiring authorities for positions involved with artificial intelligence.

Meanwhile, the first annual report has been published on the Learning Agenda, the strategy launched in late 2022 for identifying information needed to carry out PMA priorities. In the federal personnel priority area it cited for example EPA efforts to understand its immediate staffing needs and how well its succession planning is working; and the NRC’s efforts to understand how well its workforce planning processes accommodate potential workload fluctuations.
