OPM noted plans to improve key HR services platforms including USAJOBS. That will proceed in four phases, beginning with updating the ‘universal trailer hitch’ or XML based API enabling agencies to push and pull job leads and data.
Subsequent phases include establishing and revising standards; developing policy for the universal trailer hitch and revised standards and a new scorecard to assess progress; and, conducting an evaluation of the usability of the USAJOBs interface.
OPM said it will be implementing profile and resume-builder enhancements for USAJOBS, pilot a resume-mining feature, implement an application wizard, and implement reporting and analytics features.
OPM also plans to streamline processes and provide both dashboard views and standardized reports for its USA Performance platform, which enables agencies to automate their performance appraisal process throughout the entire performance rating cycle.
