GSA has launched a website – www.gsa.gov/efaca – providing public access to 10 years of federal advisory committee information and making those materials easier to find, understand and use, as part of the White House’s open government directive.
Federal advisory committees are established by statute, by the President, or agency officials and they typically formulate advice or put forward recommendations on a range of issues or policies.
"The eFACA website makes information from the Federal Advisory Committee Act database easier to find, understand, and use,” said Kathleen Turco, associate administrator of GSA’s Office of Government-wide Policy, adding, “It’s vitally important that the public have visibility into the work that shapes programs and policies of the federal government.”
