The Army has announced the winners of two of its top awards for civilian employees.
The John W. Macy, Jr. Award went to Dr. Bruce E. Brendle, Jr., acting executive director of product development at the Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center in Warren, Mich. The two winners of the William H. Kushnick Award are Deborah Dawson, supervisory staff advisor for human capital at the Chemical Materials Activity, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and Evelyn Meaker, supervisory human resources specialist in the Civilian Human Resources Agency –Europe.
Because of budgetary cutbacks, the traditional awards ceremonies at the Pentagon were canceled and the winners are being honored at their local facilities.
