The Office of Personnel Management’s Federal Executive
Institute has scheduled a workshop for Feb 18 – Feb 20 for
GS-15s, SES members, and their equivalents interested in
developing Executive Core Qualifications related to
information technology. Given at FEI in Charlottesville,
Va., “Leading in a Virtual Work Environment” blends
research and application, engages participants in a series
of work sessions focusing on organizational theory and
development, knowledge management, and how to establish a
virtual environment that supports productivity and group
dynamics. Based on the experience of organizations that
have grown comfortable and productive with a virtual work
environment, the workshop is designed to teach the
essentials of developing and implementing virtual teams.
The $1,935 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and course
