The EEOC has announced a virtual workshop for May 23 from 1-4:15 pm Eastern time titled “A View from the Bench: Expert Tips on Federal Sector EEO” on issues of the federal sector hearings process and law.

Topics will to include the best practices for preparing reports of investigations, including the role of the EEO investigator, evidence to include and methods for collecting testimony during an investigation; and navigating the reasonable accommodation process, including the process that must follow an agency’s receipt of such a request. Also, a panel of administrative judges will be available to answer questions about the hearing process, motions, virtual hearings and other topics.
