ALJ Rules Revised

OPM has published revised rules governing certain employment issues involving administrative law judges, who are independent decision-makers inside agencies who hear disputes over claims and other matters. The rules in the March 20 Federal Register clarify bar membership requirements and provide for the administrative law judge examination process to be established in a manner similar to other OPM competitive examinations, among other provisions.
