All three TSP stock-oriented funds posted substantial gains in April, with the small company stock S fund leading the way with a 15 percent increase, followed by the international stock I fund, up 12.13 percent and the large company stock C fund, up 9.58 percent. Over the last 12 months, though, the funds are still down by 33.35, 43.06 and 35.26 percent, respectively. The bond F fund gained 0.49 percent in April and the government securities G fund gained 0.21 percent, for 12 month gains of 3.93 and 3.45 percent. The April and 12-month returns of the lifecycle funds are: income, 2.37, -4.71; 2010, 3.2, -9.62; 2020, 6.79, -21.42; 2030, 8.2, -25.91; 2040, 9.38, -29.88.
