Candidate Development Program Announced

Meanwhile, the Office of Personnel Management has announced a SES candidate development program designed to assist minorities, women and people with disabilities become qualified to take SES positions. The program, which will be operative later this year with an expected first group of 50 employees, will involve mentoring, training, special assignments and other forms of preparation; individuals completing the year-long program will become eligible for selection into the SES without further competition.
