CRS Examines Student Loan Authority

The Congressional Research Service recently issued a report examining how the federal employee student loan reimbursement program works, as well as proposed legislation and rules changes that could change some of the terms of the program. OPM recently reported that agencies are increasing their use of the program, but that the use is concentrated in a few agencies and a few occupations.
