Deadline Coming on Placement Fee Reimbursement

September 30 is the deadline for applying for retroactive payment of certain placement fees for dependent care, which can be paid back to January 1 of this year under the FSAFeds flexible spending account program. At issue are up-front fees, deemed reimbursable earlier this year, for placement fees for dependent care providers such as au pairs; those expenses are reimbursable prorated for the length of the employment agreement.
