All the Thrift Savings Plan funds were down in March except for the government securities (G) fund, which by definition cannot have a losing month. The G fund gained 0.37 percent in March to bring its 12-month return to 4.45 percent, while the bond (F) fund lost 0.48 percent for a 12-month gain of 1.17 percent. The international stock (I) fund lost 2.52 percent last month, the small and mid-size U.S. company stock (S) fund lost 1.86 percent and the large company stock (C) fund lost 1.71 percent. Over the last 12 months, the I fund has gained 14.96 percent, the S fund is up 7.95 percent and the C fund is up 6.76 percent.
