The international stock I fund of the TSP dropped during August while the other four funds posted gains, but the I fund continues to lead returns over a 12-month period. The I fund lost 0.71 percent in August, compared with a 1.54 percent gain for the common stock C fund, 1.38 percent for the small company stock S fund, 1.23 percent for the bond F fund and 0.33 percent for the government securities G fund. The latest 12-month returns are: I, 18.79; S, 16.38; C, 15.21, F, 5.32 and G, 4.86. August and 12-month returns for the lifecycle funds are: income, 0.61, 7.28; 2010, 0.73, 9.99; 2020, 0.8, 12.34; 2030, 0.88, 13.65; 2040, 0.9, 14.82.
