Judicial Leave Sharing Signed

President Bush has signed into law (P.L. 109-229) a measure to allow employees of the judicial branch to participate in special leave-sharing programs that sometimes are created in the wake of natural disasters and other emergencies. Judicial branch employees previously were eligible to participate in standard leave-sharing programs that allow employees to donate annual leave that can be used by other employees for certain medical and other emergencies.
