New Leadership Set on House Panel

The two parties have chosen new members to the key posts on the subcommittee that is the first stop for much of the legislation on those issues, the federal workforce subcommittee of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., takes over as chairman and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, will be the ranking minority member. The chair and ranking member of the full committee are new to those positions as well–respectively, Rep. Edolphus Towns, D-N.Y., and Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
