New Per Diem Rates Announced

GSA has released its annual update of per diem reimbursements for federal travelers, raising the rates in many cities but leaving them unchanged for destinations that don’t have specific rates at $70 for lodging and $39 for meals and incidental expenses. The highest combined rate is New York City and environs, $424 in September-December; it’s $349 there January-June and $323 in July and August. Other cities with combined rates exceeding $300 are Vail, Colo., $332 in December and January; Boston and environs, $320 in September and October; and Key West, Fla., $307 in February and March. The meals and incidentals portion for cities with specific rates will continue to range from $39 to $64.
