The survey meanwhile found that 91 percent believe their work is important, 84 percent like their work, 73 percent believe it gives them a feeling of personal accomplishment, and 68 percent said there are satisfied with their jobs overall. Those indicators were about the same as in the previous survey. About six-tenths said they are satisfied with pay, retirement, health insurance and life insurance benefits, while 88 percent said the same of paid vacation time and 84 percent of sick leave benefits. One area where there was a notable decline was satisfaction with work/life programs, with only half satisfied with alternative work schedules and only a quarter satisfied with the telework program.
