Other requests made by DoD include: giving wage grade employees the same right to compensation for certain hours of travel that apply to general schedule employees and also extending to wage grade employees the right to compensatory time off for other travel time that is not compensable; allowing agencies to end the financial disadvantages that some employees suffer when they are assigned to support military operations as a temporary change of station; increasing the number of Defense Intelligence Senior Executives by 100 over two years; allowing Defense intelligence senior level employees to accumulate up to 90 days of annual leave; and allowing employees called to active duty to keep their FEGLI coverage for up to 24 months, rather than the current 12.
