It also says the average number of days to an initial offer of employment is now 34, although at Education the figure is 93, and DHS, Justice, Labor, Transportation, National Science Foundation and the Smithsonian all are at 40 days or higher. Agencies doing the fastest hiring are SBA, SSA and Agriculture.
