Among the former, it said, 46.3 percent were rated outstanding, 43.3 percent were rated as exceeding expectations, 10.3 percent as fully successful, 0.2 percent—10 executives in total—as only minimally successful and none as unacceptable. For those in the top level, that translated into an average performance award of more than $15,000 and an average pay increase of more than $6,200—a combined average of more than 13 percent of prior salary. Similarly, among four-level systems, 50.3 percent were rated outstanding, 49.3 percent fully successful, 0.4 percent—three executives in total—minimally successful and none unacceptable. At the top level, that translated into an average performance award of more than $17,000, plus an average pay raise of nearly $6,400—a combined average of nearly 15 percent of prior salary.
