Some Large Agencies Make Appearances

Cabinet departments made up about half of the total number of entities examined in the breakdown, but only the only appearances by those departments were Justice and State ranking Nos. 5 and 6, respectively, in job satisfaction, Commerce ranking No. 10 in results-oriented management culture and State ranking No. 10 in leadership and knowledge management. The Social Security Administration, another large agency, ranked No. 8 in job satisfaction and No. 9 in leadership and knowledge management. The breakdown did not go beyond the top 10 in each category. OPM officials said that agencies will use the results to assess themselves and to seek advice from higher-ranked agencies.
