Some Per Diem Rates Rising

Effective today (February 1) the per diem rates for federal employees traveling to several areas, including the nation’s capital area and the Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Denver, El Paso, Grand Canyon/Flagstaff and Tucson areas. In most cases the increases are several dollars. In addition, a dozen areas now have their own specified rate rather than the catchall national rate for destinations without specified rates. The changes are in Per Diem Bulletin 06-4.
