Some Provisions Unique to Senate Bill

The Senate DoD bill meanwhile would: simplify or repeal certain reporting requirements already in existence involving contracting of depot maintenance work; continue for two years a temporary authority for contractor performance of certain security guard functions; allow senior level intelligence employees to accumulate annual leave on the same terms as senior executives; and provide non-appropriated fund employees the same guarantees of health benefits provided to federal employees in general.
