The GS raise will be effective with the first full pay period of January. In most cases, that is January
9th, although pay cycles vary in some cases. When employees actually will see the difference in their
paychecks largely depends on their servicing payroll offices. Generally speaking, it will be late January
or early February until the additional money shows up in their pay.
